A few months ago in Tokyo, a group of five people mysteriously vanished. When their bodies were discovered recently, it was revealed all five had been murdered. No one knew why, and the victims did not seem connected in any significant way. All that was known for certain was they had all lived within Tokyo shortly before their deaths. There appeared to be no real clues and the case began to go cold, until odd things began to happen. People began to report strange things such as seeing ghosts and other unusual phenomenon. The police thought it was crazy and dismissed the reports, until a strange woman was secretly sent in. The orders came from so high up they could not interfere, they were also given little explanation of why. They were told only that she had 'special abilities' that would help with the case.
The woman was known as a Supernatural P.I., and became the newest addition to their team. She could verify the presence of something supernatural and had the tools to fight them but she was not a full medium. She could see the ghosts and their auras but not hear their words. She would need a partner because of this and after some unfortunate events, she would get just that. The male was code named "Ghost", a male wanted by the police. When events led to his being brought in, she sensed his ability and gave him the choice of cooperation, or jail. He had little choice but to join her. Their abilities allowed them to learn that the five victims are indeed still in Tokyo just as witnesses thought... though they are not among the living. All five victims are instinctively aware that they were holding important knowledge, though they remember nothing of what it was or anything about their deaths.
One thing is clear, something is going down in Tokyo, that will prove deadly for even more innocents if it is not stopped. The two investigators must figure out what is going on with the spirits help, before time runs out. Not all are on their side, however, something is lurking within the shadows....A dark spirit who has been brought in by this unknown enemy to drag the five victims into darkness. Something wants to make sure their story can never be told, and stop the P.I's in their tracks, even if it means ending the detectives lives.
