I'm psychic myself too, and like you guys i've found myself gravitating towards spiritualism. In terms of religion i don't class myself as a Spiritualist though, more of a pantheist, simply because i've been to Spiritualist Church and there's far to much of God and Jesus, which i don't really prescribe to.

My belief about the afterlife is that it exists, though there is no such thing as Hell, or Heaven really, just a place where we return to the raw energies that we're made from. I believe in reincarnation too, to an end where we keep going until our soul has learn't everything it set out to over the course of 'x' amount of lives.

To me being spiritual, psychic/sensitive, and being a Spiritualist are all different things, though they often overlap. As somebody who practices energy work like reiki and crystal healing, as well as reading cards and being able to tune into spirit within our environments, i consider myself having a spiritual mindset and psychic abilities, but not to be a Spiritualist.

I've seen and felt some pretty amazing things during my life, through both energy work and my psychic abilities, and i believe wholeheartedly in what i'm experiencing. I don't need somebody else to validate what i'm going through to give it existence, though i don't cause friction with people who don't believe in such things. I just consider them not yet fully developed enough to see/feel etc.
Working at a zoo & castle with a 1000 + years of history means i've seen and felt some pretty wonderful things since i've been there, and i've seen several members of my own family who're in spirit, and also the parents of a close friend. I love telling stories, but i'm careful who i tell, because it's things not a lot of people react very well to!

When it comes to tarot, the only place i charge for readings is via my Etsy shop, but they're nowhere near as expensive as most readers charge in person. If anyone asks me in person i don't charge, though i do accept any donation they might want to give, but the reason i set charges in my shop is because i've had a lot of people try to take advantage and ask me things continually, which is both time consuming and unnecessary in a lot of cases. Also, other people charge for the use of their gifts and abilities, so i don't see why we should be any different just because of the nature of our work, so long as we aren't taking advantage, and set affordable prices.
