I like black as well & mostly for the same reasons.
I almost always wear black when I make cakes or cupcakes so that the paste coloring from the icing doesn't ruin any clothes.

We were hoping to go to the drive-in tonight, but it has been raining all day & now is just sort of cold & miserable.
