I actually love cats. I always try to pet strange cats, and if I'm driving and not in a hurry to get to my destination... if I see a cat on the side of the road... I will pull over and try to pet the cat.
Shirley has had the talent of finding all the strange little dark corners of my apartment that haven't been touched or cleaned for two years...
I've only had her for just under 24 hours now. She's getting less shy. She got up and napped on my bed for a while earlier:
