Hm, well, Latvia is small country at Baltic sea in Northern Europe, with little over 2 million people and the number shrinks as more and more people leave. Most here are jobless and without any prospect in life, so they go and wash dishes and pick mushrooms in Ireland, England, Spain and many other countries. We have huge country debt, we're part of EU. We have beautiful nature, but more and more of it is ruined as other countries buy up and chop out our forests. We have little to no manufacturing going on, we buy everything and that's why it's expensive. One of our 'riches' is amber. People usually think we're somewhere as cold as North Pole, but we experience all seasons and this year, there hasn't even been any decent snow! It gets really hot in summer, too.
