Akai blinked his eyes before the darkness disappeared. He could faintly hear Connor talking to him, but it took awhile before he woke up fully. He blinked a few more times and felt as though his arm had been punched hard, the tell tale sign that the man had injected him with all the needles while he was out. He blushed slightly as he focused his blurred vision on the man now, who was sitting next to him and keeping an eye on his heart beat.

"Argh... Sorry... I... Well... I hate needles..." he muttered, feeling embarrassed. Had his sign of weakness turned the man off? He had to find a way to get back into Connor's good books. His eyes moved around the room rapidly, but he couldn't see anything he could comment on. "You got a family back home...?" he asked, hoping Connor would talk to him and ignore his episode.
