Through moments of clarity of his consciousness Michael remembered very little, a mixture of hazy flashbacks from the store, and simply pure emotions... Fear and anger, the last, built up more and more it burned in him more than the pain.

He remembered being dragged unceremoniously and roughly away from his hiding place, before being lifted up, it must have been the loss of blood and shock but he saw a strange face above him, belonging to the figure that picked him up.
