A dark almost sinister laugh came from him as he stepped back letting the woman have her way with the piper. This was quite amusing and really it did deserve the man right. He melted into the shadows to watch. This woman was more than he first thought her to be. “Take your time darling. He more than deserves what he’s getting.”

Darius had no plans of stopping the woman any time soon. More than likely Piper had already alerted her to his true connection to this place which he planned to keep from her right now. That was no matter as he had intended to tell her if it came to that point. His thinking was getting off track as his attention turned back to the piper and woman.

Piper screamed in pain once more as he put a hole in his wrist. “Damn you creature,” he hissed. His gaze turned to Darius. “This is all your doing isn’t it? Because you can’t stand me.” It seemed that the male didn’t have any idea that Sabin was the one attacking him. A growl came from the man as his pipe was pulled away from him. The sight of the woman before him caused him to freeze. “Who or what are you?”
