Ah, man, all through secondary school Green Day were my favourite band. I was so psyched when I got to see them play at Cardiff Castle. (Google tells me that was 2002. I feel so old!)

I love all their stuff, but if I had to whittle it down I would go with: Why Do You Want Him?, Longview, Basket Case, Only Of You, and American Idiot.
