Though she had her back to the main part of the battlefield, there were a few bodies she could see in the corner of her eye but she refused to look at them. These men had killed her friends and tried to kill her and yet.. she couldn't help but feel sorry for them, they had just been following orders afterall, right to the end.

In the corner of her eye she saw something move and approach one of the bodies, reluctantly she turned her green gaze from the forest ahead of them to the body in question. This strange man kept getting stranger. Why was he giving a corpse a gold coin? Curious, she watched as he finished his sweep of the battlefield, checking the bodies and flicking a gold coin onto each. Was this some sort of Galtian tradition for the dead? But what was the point of it?

Gaze remained on the man as he approached and sat beneath the tree with her, though turned away enough so as she couldn't see his face. What he did next did take her by surprise, after everything he'd just done she never expected him to pray for them afterwards. The prayer did answer her curiosity about the coins, but only raised more questions about him.

Pulling her knees to her chest and wrapping her arms around them, she looked upto the sky as he mentioned rain and though it took her a minute, she came to understand what he meant. "'Rain' shows we're human." Nahele stated simply, leaning forward enough to rest her chin on top of her knees at an angle so as she was looking at the man beside her. "I was starting to wonder just what you were."
