Dan smiled, untying the man, but keeping the stun gun nearby. "Run along, sonny boy." He watched as Jacob struggled to move, his body weakened from the pain that had assaulted him. "Do you need help?" he asked, trying to sound nice. It would be hard for Jacob to understand him now that he had hurt him as much as he had. Maybe he'd run and hide like his pet had done, slowly making his mind become warped until he forgot all about the life outside of this house. Dan wouldn't mind that.

He followed Jacob up the stairs, helping when the man struggled. He was put in his room, but the door kept unlocked. It would be locked at night time, while Dan slept so Jacob didn't get any ideas. "You are to leave the door open. If my pet comes in to say hello, you have to treat him nicely. He will bite if he feels threatened." Dan brightened up, grinning widely. "I am so happy you have agreed to this research! We will be millionaires! Famous!" He left the man where he was, going to his office to record his findings.
