Constance shot Cimmerian a sharp look for a brief moment before forcing her eyes to look back at the table before her. "I'm pretty sure the 'good guys' don't kidnap people," she mumbled under her breath before the male known as Serk started speaking. His words at first caused her to roll her eyes as her arms were tucked tightly against her chest in difiance. His tone started changing though as he spoke of Robin Hood.
Lifting her eyes to meet the male's gaze, for once, she listened silently. She worried her bottom lip for a moment as she imagined the fox from the Disney version of Robin Hood. Clearly he was no bad guy, that horrible Prince John was! In her mind, he had already stolen from the people, so what Robin Hood did was simply return was what taken from them and that couldn't be considered bad. Her mind drifted as the pale haired male shifted gears towards the Revolutionary War. The colonists were being oppressed so of course it wasn't wrong of them to fight back to gain their freedom! Lastly, when the male mentioned the 'evil' that chocolate brought, Constance then shot the male a sharp look, one the quickly calmed as he put his hand on her knee.
His words then caused her to look away, her back hitting the back of the couch as he seemed to return to sitting back in his own chair. She looked to the side, her gaze falling onto Horatio who seemed to be more willing with all of this than she had expected from what she remembered happening before she passed out. She took a slow breath as she tried to think, her eyes rolling to peer at the white haired male from the corner of her eyes and she became curious. What was it that these people were fighting for? What was going on beyond the lives of those she saw everyday? Were her friends in some sort of danger, did they need saving?!
It was Serk freezing the table the caused the woman to jump slightly, her body facing the male once again, eyes slightly wide. She had guessed there was something special about Horatio and from the way the woman and other man were talking, that they must fall in the same boat. For some reason though, she didn't think this guy followed down that same path. Her hands were planted flatly against the couch as she looked at the ice once again before the male started speaking about what he fights for. She could feel a swelling of pride in her chest as she watched as he spoke of such a sorrowful experience. It ignited a fire in her, one that wanted to be like a modern day Robin Hood.
The snark comment that normally would have come from Constance when Serk mentioned how they wouldn't hurt her or Horatio was swept away in this new heroic feeling. She lifted a hand to rub the back of her neck for as far as she knew, she wouldn't be of much help. "I mean," she started saying, her hesitation from her previous thought catching up her words. "If there's someway to help, I'd be glad too. I don't think I'm anything special, but if you guys think otherwise, I'm all for it!" It was funny at how the woman was snapping at the others since they got there, but this guy seemed to know just what to say to get her to do what they wanted, even if she wasn't aware of it.
