Jamie pulled a face, something between sad and pained, and pushed the door closed behind him. "That's no good..." He muttered, feeling terribly awkward all the way, but he pushed forward nonetheless. Walking forward, he was quiet on bare feet, until he stepped up to the foot of the bed and knelt on the floor.

He reddened and looked down, picking at the sleeves that covered half his arms. "Um... Well, I... your father... asks me to... while I work... So I do..." He shrugged awkwardly, grimacing and running his hand through his wild hair. "It's, um, not really what I make a habit of wearing..." In fact, he stayed well away from anything with frills or ruffles, and wore silk at night because it was smooth and cool. The only thing close to revealing he wore on a daily basis away from work was the several pairs of knee-length shorts he wore while swimming or during summer.
