Jake stood quickly when the door opened, clenching his hands in the face of Dan once again. The idea of being free for a day was appealing, but the appeal was immediately watered down, drowned, in the face of new victims. "What the fuck are you even doing!? Who was it? Who was here!?" He was on the verge of ripping his own hair out in sheer frustration.
