Cedric looked down at the pad he was holding, feeling slightly embarrassed. "Well... I'm confident we will catch him..." he muttered quietly, more to himself than to his new partner. He passed the notes over to the senior detective and looked at Renee on the monitor. She was crying again and Cedric did feel really sorry for her. "We interview the neighbours, see if they noticed anything suspicious. Maybe ask the Aunt if she knows anything more about our Vic, then we might have to go to these... Places one can find gay men to take home."

Cedric bit his lip and closed his eyes. "Says on the notes they found where that letter was from. A cipher written on common notepad paper, yet they can't recognise the cipher..." They had no other clues. "Maybe he got into something he wasn't planning on... I mean... Maybe it was some sort of... Ritual or sex thing gone wrong..."
