Take my darkest fears and play them like a lullaby, like a reason why.

The icy wind cut at her like a blade as she trudged through the ice and snow. Seriously what the hell was she doing here when she should be some place warm? The woman wrapping her arms more tightly around her. As another blast of artic wind blow she felt it pushing her back. This was ridiculous why did the goddess have to pick such a freezing cold and barren wasteland and did she mention freezing cold? Pushing away the thoughts of the cold Ashleigh Corbin force her numb body to move forward towards her destination.

The snow was blinding, but she could just make out figures up ahead. It was relief to say the least, she hadn’t gotten lost in the icy wasteland. Reaching the group of people she stayed silent, only glancing at each of them. What a sorry lot they all were, herself included. She wondered who they were and why they were all brought together. They represented the seven sins. She knew what her crimes were, that didn’t really bother her as she hoped to strike a different deal with the witch if possible. Looking around again she could only guess who was who. She figured that she was either Envy or Greed, either one fit her. Envy more so than greed. Whether she represented her own envy or envy of others was anyone’s guess. For all she knew she represented both.

Things got strange rather quickly as a bright light engulfed them. The change in attire wasn’t totally favorable, but at least her cavewoman attire included bone armor for protection. She would have much preferred the military grade gear instead. Even so she couldn’t help, but to think ‘damn I make this look sexy’. Her self-inspection would have to wait as her attention was turn to the woman who had brought them all together. Giving orders again, who did this woman think she was? Ashleigh was rather annoyed by all of this. Then they began to fall. It was quite a rush, but damn it she didn’t want to die not yet. And definitely not like this. This had to be another one of the witch’s tricks.

The landing was softer than expected which was a relief. Hearing Harvey she wrinkled her nose in disgust. Really? Why did someone like him have to be part of all of this? Her thoughts drifted as the others began to talk. Fighting dinosaurs didn’t appeal to her much. Seriously would they even really stand a chance if they had to fight one?

“The sooner we get this over with the better.” She didn’t bother to move closer to the others, but remained where she stood. If no one else made a move, she would go ahead on her own. The woman was confident in her abilities. Being helpless was something she never was and never would be if she had any say in the matter. Ashe grabbed her backpack and began to take an inventory of the items within it. Everything seemed to still be there, good. Now to figure out how to conceal her weapons in her new attire.
