Morgann had set an alarm for 9:30am. The alarm sounded, and nothing was happening. She pushed the button on her watch, and felt a wave of dizziness slam into her. Clutching her table and closing her eyes, she remembered something. Something she felt like had been laying in her mind, ready to be remembered for a long time.
Dark shadowy figures surrounded her. None of them looked human. She must have been in a field, but the field looked more like a battleground. She had allies nearby, they were fighting these beings as well. She had taken her chakram and threw it to take down more creatures. Though there wasn't much wind, she could still manuever her weapon through the air to hit 2 targets at a time.
Soon another character jumped in, and ally of hers, and they nodded at eachother, putting their backs towards one another. An explosion could be heard nearby, and a scream. For a second Morgann was distracted, and the enemy was able to strike at her.
Just when she was able to open her eyes again, the light above her table popped, and made a bright flash. The room was suddenly lit by multiple hanging lights. A man layed across the table table directly in front of her. Before even looking up the rest of the group, she prodded the man's side, and cleared her throat.
What terrible manners this man has.
A bright flash encompassed Annie's vision. As she regained her sight, the table was much larger, and had multiple people sitting around it. To her right she looked at a boy close to her own age. She had a feeling she had seen him in school before. No, she had seen him many times before.
Annie held two knives, which felt like an extension of herself. People had affectionately referred to them as her "pinchers" although they couldn't pinch at all. She continued to attack the enemies. The groups abilities had finally been released, they were ready to take down their enemy, and save the world. But the enemy somehow suddenly got stronger, and even knew they were coming. This was a losing fight, but they had to keep trying.
A monster had just crossed blades with her knives. As she was trying to push it off of her, another one was coming from the side to attack. She didn't have anything left to do, until an ally came in to her rescue. It gave her the courage to throw the monster back. "Thanks Scorpio," she said smiling. She looked over, and saw a creature creating a black ball of energy. It looked like it was going to thrust it at another one of her allies. She threw her knife into the creature's back, and the ball of energy instead hit a couple feet back from her ally, sending her flying.
She was still looking at the boy when she finally came back to reality. She quickly looked away blushing.
