I studied all four years of my high school.. I can read French to an extent, that I won't get lost in France if I ever visit, haha. I just can't speak it and writing it is hard because of certain accents and spellings.

However, my last year there were only five of us and we got lumped along with first years.. So since our teacher was busy teaching them, we were off in a corner teaching ourselves. The only time we got teacher time was when we were reviewing for a test. Needlessly to say, I didn't learn any advanced vocabulary or phrases. I barely passed the class with a C+
