Soren gently shoved the princess into the cavern, following her after she had squeezed through the small crack. He had to wriggle himself a bit, and regretted not always keeping up with his exercising regime. Once inside, he allowed his eyes to adjust, taking in the small group before him. When they were noticed, the group surged forward, wrapping the young princess in their embrace, completely ignoring Soren.

In the back of the cavern, Soren picked out a bobbing white head of hair. "Emraldia!" He whispered in thanksgiving as he made his way over to her. Grabbing her, he hugged her quickly, relishing the red color that sprung to her cheeks. Noticing Seirun next to her, Soren held his hand out for a handshake, glad that Seirun of all his merpeople made it out alive as well.

"I'm so glad you two go out. I brought Princess Mira with me, but...the prince..." Tears sprang to his eyes as he remembered the prince floating dead by Udinia's hand. "I'm so sorry. To everyone. For everything. I don't understand how this happened."
