Harry stood there unable to move while he watched the events go about; he had his wand in his hand under his invisibility cloak ready to pull it out if needed. Once Lucius Malfoy looked like he was about to strike Draco, Harry almost revealed himself to both of them, however he stayed hidden. Harry felt a swelling pain in his chest when Lucius grabbed Draco by the throat 'How can he do that to him? Draco's his son!' Harry thought not realizing he used his enemy's first name for once, even if it was just in thought.

Harry knew he grew up without his father, but even so father's were supposed to love their children. Care for them, raise them, and even help them when the time called for it. Not hurt their own children, what was Lucius Malfoy thinking when he dared to do that, what made him think he would get away with that?

Once Lucius left Harry remembered where he was standing watching this all happen. Pulling his cloak off and turning it around as if he was using it as a regular cloak so people could now see him. He ran over to Draco making sure that his father was truly gone while speaking to him. "Malfoy, are you alright?" he wanted to ask what that was all about, but this wasn't the place nor the time for it. Harry placed his invisibility cloak around Draco's shoulders not to be invisible, however Harry felt the need to help Malfoy.

He didn't understand why he had wanted to help him, but lately watching people become scared of him and even play tricks on him at the school. Harry had wanted do more, all he could do was tell the twins to knock it off, but they didn't listen to him. Harry, unlike Draco, wasn't a threat to anyone. He didn't have a bad vibe rolling off of him and whenever he did people tried to help even when he didn't want their help.
