Hermione stood there lingering a second until Ron explained why he thought she was right. Then she turned on her heel and stormed off with Ginny to find her twin brothers that could help locate her partner for the project. This was going to be a long year...more like a long month to start off with and Hermione was already focusing on everyone else so she wouldn't have to focus on herself. In time they found the two boys whispering about some new teacher that was soon to come to the school for some odd reason. However, they have yet to figure out if that was a good thing or not. "I'll see you later 'Mione" Ginny walked off on her own way to get back to her classes she still had, after this current class for her she would be on free period for the rest of the evening luckily.

"Heeey" Hermione sounded a bit uncertain about going to the two trickster Weasly's to locate someone in another house. The boys looked up "Mind helping me find my lab partner? I don't like the idea of running around the dungeon during free period just to find her." The boys looked at each other and looked intrigued "You mean the Slytherin?" George asked "Yes, her name is Kate. Ginny said you could help me find her, please" Neither boy seemed interested in this matter until she said "I'll owe you one" then they smiled in unison, they loved it when people owed them favors, especially when the favor was left unsaid. The twins didn't know much about this Slytherin, well Fred knew more than George however he was unwilling to share anything with anyone.

Kate herself was sitting under one of the trees in the courtyard looking relaxed with her legs stretched out and crossed over each other as she read a book that didn't look like it belonged in the school's library. Well not unless it was in the forbidden section, but it wasn't. It was her own book and she loved it alot, it was about a girl who found out she was a witch and everyone was out to get her. However, there was more to the storyline than just that; her long brown hair laid across her shoulders instead of it's usual high ponytail as her emerald eyes scanned the pages. Speed reading. That was what she was known for, reading faster than anyone else as well as remembering it all. So she only read books once. Never more than that for any reasons as she never thought about why she would need or want to. After a few moments she seemed to have drifted off into a little nap as everyone stayed away from her.

"Like a spoiled brat" Harry was going to say something more...insulting, but that was what he resorted to in the end "Let's not get into any fights, the project won't complete itself." he stated while taking a glimpse at Malfoy wondering what the blonde slytherin was thinking. Looking back to his book to flip to the correct page, he already had heard of this spell before...somewhere, though he couldn't remember where right off hand. Harry looked confused after finding the spell he was looking for on page six-fifty-six in his old, hardly touched potions book. "Why would you want to make a friendship potion?" Harry had finally calmed down from earlier glad the affect from earlier's little outbursts between everyone didn't last too long. How would a friendship potion make it so they can explain why to keep it as a useful spell.

Then it made sense to him, if people became friends more often it would be less of a hassle to bother with and less negativity to start fights and such. On the other hand turning someone into your friend that would be your enemy normally would...well work more in your favor. Now the only thing they had to do was work on the ingredients and write out the report. Two hours to sit in this old, dusty room that was falling apart; Harry was starting to wonder how Malfoy hung out in here, but the creaking shack was probably about the same as far as the shape it was in.
