I'm going to try and help you understand. Hopefully I can help you understand the mind frame behind why we do what we do. Menewshan staff cares very deeply about the site, and they uphold the rules so that everyone can be comfortable, not just to ruin your fun. Menewsha does allow users as young as 13 to join the site, hence why we must uphold the PG-13 rating. We are not the only site, nor is the internet the only place to create such a situation. The RPs you were requesting would have fallen in a category that would have shot way past PG-13 and even the R rating. In the very very least you would have fallen into the NC-17 category. Would you be for a 13 year old entering a movie rated NC-17?

Well whether or not you are or you aren't isn't the question here. We follow the same rules and restrictions as the movie theater and many other places. We've chosen to allow younger users, and so we uphold the younger rules. We do allow romance in an RP but it must have a blanket cover on it or it would push us outside that PG-13 rating. Its not about rights, its about rules. We aren't stopping you from having these types of RPs, we're just stopping you from having them here. We've even offered you an alternative.

If you ask about the four big No-no's we have. Well those are illegal. Plain and simple as that.

Yuri and Yoai are perfectly acceptable so long as they are within the rules. We also have never said violence isn't allowed, we've only asked that a warning be placed so that those with a weak stomach for such things have a way of avoiding it.

A final point here. Menewsha is a small community and its not as fast as a large company like...say Gaia. I assure you the staff, care very deeply. The staff here is run by a few extremely dedicated people who give what little time they have in their extremely busy lives to this place. The mod you contacted will get back to you the next time she gets on, she probably just hasn't seen it yet. Have patience with her, whichever one it was.
