An armored robed figure stood in the shadows of a transport ship awaiting his patron, arms folded across his chest no visible skin showing leaving no inkling as to what race he might be. An ornate mask of rare or lost design hiding his facial features and giving his bored sighs an ominous depth. The people at the space port here on Dantooine seemed to either avoid him or regard him with quick-glanced horror. He knew what he looked like to most. Death. His appearance was carefully sculpted for his true line of work. But right now he was out doing mercenary jobs since the Guild didn't have any major contracts to offer at the moment and he wasn't about to change his usual gear just for this.

Guard duty, that's what this job was going to be. At worst, they would have a smooth sailing adventure from here to their destination. It would be the epitome of boredom. At best they would likely run into some pirates looking to steal from a transport vessel. That would make this trip somewhat worthwhile despite he was getting paid a hefty sum. More than he would expect from a simple transport mission. Enzo felt this job was beneath his talents. Even up to this moment he was baffled as to why he agreed to take this job, and on top of that he had no idea what kind of cargo they were carrying. Some inexplicable force had just compelled him to agree to this job when it was offered, though normally he would have refused. It was as if there was some reason he was supposed to be here.

He watched in muted silence as the workers continued to board up cargo for the ship, wondering if there was really even anything in half of those crates. The patron he was working for was a well and widely known merchant but it didn't take much digging to know that he was also a smuggler. You don't just build up a fortune here on Dantooine out of nowhere with legitimate trade. The Empire was trying to assimilate all of the outer rim worlds into their kingdom but the outer rim was far too independent. Life out here was too harsh for them to suddenly give up their ways and bow to an Emperor. But those politics didn't concern him. Only this job did. And his patron was late.

The head of security for this mission was an orange skinned twi'lek who went by the name Shal. He was the personal bodyguard of his contractor and supposedly an ex-merc with some experience in the Clone Wars. He was surprisingly gruff for a twi'lek but not all of them were smooth talkers and friendly. Enzo had made it clear he wasn't planning on taking orders from anyone should things hit the fan and as you might guess, that caused some complications. Still, their relationship was one of silent disdain. Enzo paid him no mind and that attitude was returned in favor. It was simpler this way.

It was already almost time for their scheduled departure and although his patience was running thin, all he could do was wait.
