Depends on type of movies you are into:
The Shawshank Redemption - My personal favorite and a prison movie
Edward Scissorhands - Probably my favorite Tim Burton movie (live action but you can definitely see the Tim Burton style)
Empire of the Sun - Good for a historical fiction buff. Follows a British boy in Shanghai during WWII after the bombing of Pearl Harbor
The Godfather - It is the Italian in me that connects me to this movie so much.
Elf - My favorite Christmas movie of all time. The only movie I actually like with Will Ferrell in it.
Lilo & Stitch - Just watched this recently for the first time and loved it!
