Amanda had been nervous that she might get in trouble from the headmaster and was relieved when he started to thank her for stopping the fight. She nodded politely as she listened to the headmaster continue.

What she did not expect was that she would be assigned to watch over and teach the human...or rather...a human finding himself turned into something completely supernatural. She didn't know whether to be worried or to be honored that the headmaster was entrusting her with this responsibility.

"How is he doing?" she asked, trying to buy some more time before she had to respond to his request that she be the appointed mentor and guardian. "We were actually on our way to the student health center to check on him when we heard your announcement over the speaker system."
