Kakashi blinked when her smile faded, and he stood straight up as Ahna looked away from him. He folded his arms over his chest and looked at her. "They were safe, Ahna. I delivered the scroll and went to make sure before going back for you. They were within village walls, and needed a minute to collect themselves. I did what was best." He said to her, picking his words carefully. The last Kakashi wanted was for an argument to breakout between them. "There's no reason for you to leave." Kakashi said to her, trying to stay calm.
