Wufei nodded his head once even though his heart sunk a little. He feared this sanctuary that Isamu offered would end sooner rather than later and when it ended, so would he. It was as simple as that and yet he felt calm at the realization. A part of him accepted the fate already. "That will have to do then," he sighed. "If I ever becoming a burden here, I will leave, try to make my way back to my own home." Touching the flower he'd tucked into his sleeve, he wondered if Isamu could help him with that quest. It was the ultimate goal of his escape. Not to join the army again and fight for vengeance, but to return home so he could at least see his family one more time before fate made it impossible.
