Now she eats dry food though so I can just put a bunch in her bowl and she'll just eat when she feels like it. She doesn't seem to overeat or anything which is good.

LOL When we used to feed kibble my cat would gorge himself on every single morsel in front of him. We had to leave out small amounts. Now when we go on trips we leave out kibble and he legit shoves his face into the bowl and probably rolls around like a chubby little peanut for hours after we leave
