Have you ever felt someone has been taking pictures of you on the streets? Unexplained murders in your neighborhoods? Nicholas Crenshol may have been one of the culprits.

For six years in numerous towns across New England, 42 unexplainable murders occurred. Seven murders each year in New England states. Nicholas Crenshol takes seven stealthy pictures of his “victims”. He always left clues of who was next. He would post a picture of them on a pole. His goals were to assassinate all his victims before November 17. For him it was a sport. For us it was a life or death situation.
8:30p.m 10/31/01, Halloween, Nicholas Crenshol was in unexpected places with his camera ready. *Click*, the first picture, he dashed stealthily to his next spot. *Click*, the second picture, as soon as he could take that picture he would dash off into the woods dodging branches, twigs, and low hanging objects also jumping the hood of an abandoned car. Aimed his camera and, *Click* the third picture. Somebody saw Nicholas. *Click* quickly, he photographed them. They told the authorities of a tall thin man with shady eyes taking pictures. When the police heard the bystander they rushed to the scene and saw nothing. By the end of the night, Nicholas had taken the rest of the pictures.
Back at his small “hideout” he plotted spooky and unthinkable ways of tormenting his victims. He got all his devices ready, timed bombs, remote detonators, hand grenades, silenced pistols, and a switchblade, and a rope.
He had observed his victims schedules. He went for the first victim. Nicholas placed a timed bomb under the hood of his “prey’s” car.
As he turned around to run, a police man stopped him. Not knowing what to do Nicholas ran. He ran to a hill. Children were playing in piles of colorful piles of leaves. Toy witches were hanging everywhere. Gooey cakes were being eaten. The running and screaming children had no clue of what was going on. Nicholas snatched the coat of a child and took it hostage.
He ran with the boy no older than six to a bridge. He told the child told hold on to his jacket. He took the rope and tied a loop that tightens upon being pulled around his waist. The other end was tied around a pillar on the bridge. Nicholas jumped down and the child squirmed free. The boy landed in a lake and swam ashore. As Nicholas tried grabbing him, his arms fell through his loop. He grabbed it while the loop was near his neck.
Nicholas had strangled himself. The eerie glow that once glistened in his eyes was gone. The criminal whom assassinated others, was dead. Years passed and no one mentioned Nicholas Crenshol ever again. His legacy was over.
