well... i think that they do have the right to request for those kind of things even though it has almost nothing to do with them. so... since they are still involved i think that they have a right to.
and to answer the second question, i say yes because take a look at stores. if a customer complains about something small, they try to resolve the problem dont they? so... i guess you can if you want to
