Oh, yes. The scholar class, by the way.
Alchemy itself is a class where science colludes with magic, so in a way, it's where magical attributes are adapted into science (chemistry), in a 'logical' way, if you want to put it as so.
If you have not noticed, there is a basis to alchemy which uses alchemy or arcane symbols to enhance or activate their abilities. Say, a concoction which was made to produce fire, or fire based (say it's in a bottle, throwing it and breaking the bottle would result in a minor scale explosion), using the symbols to augment it into a whole fire pillar.

These would be the potion makers, brews to enhance physical or mental abilities and more.
It is a very spiritual and philosophical class.
The definition and types vary depending on who you ask, but this is my general understanding on them.

And if you were to separate the priests by gods, order-aligned could be the holy workers who work on good will, healing and supporting the weak, fighting for rights, equality, focuses on justice and fairness of all, ridding demons and such.

Conversely, although the chaos-aligned 'holy' workers would have similar traits and focuses, they are the more extreme. They destroy all 'dark' forces, disregarding who or what, concentrating on the path of 'light'. So in the journey to making a greater good, they chose the more radical method, exterminate, ask questions later.

*scratches head*

I hope that makes sense?
