Mysteria: Wow, that made me crack up laughing, especially after imagining the scene in #3. If it's any consolation, it sounds like part of the reason you were a brat is because your school wasn't challenging you enough and you were bored. I used to get in trouble for working (or at least reading) ahead too. You'd think they'd be happy to have an enthusiastic student and just assign them some extra work that they're interested it.
