I have to echo what everyone else has said though. 500 gold though it may seem small at first adds up very quickly. Playing games daily and being active on the site will provide more than enough gold to get the items you want. Also you are allowed one mule on menewsha. With that mule you will also be able to play games, which will grant you another 500 gold a day (total of 1000 gold, which is what you wanted in the first post) :3
