Truthfully, it's completely different when it's your own kid. Things that would grate on my nerves coming from anyone else's kid, don't bother me in the least from my own. And you know it's love when your kid can pee, poop, throw up, spit up, and get any other kind of bodily fluid on you and you actually don't feel the urge to throw up yourself! lol

I tell ya, Withered...that first stomach flu...it's a doozy! ;P

And as for pregnancy, man I LOVED being pregnant! I would love to be pregnant again now, though I have to wait another year or so. Whenever I see a pregnant lady, I'm like, "Awww...I want it again!" There was nothing else like that. I felt so beautiful, I looked cute as a button (admittedly, I had a small bump until the last month, whereas some women seem to carry HUGE ones), I got special treatment and smiles whereever I went, and the kicking sensation has to seriously be one of the most incredible feelings in the world. I'd play "foot" with my bump all the time! She was a kicker! The birth itself hurt because she came so fast that my medication didn't have time to kick in, so it was pretty much natural. But I got through it and they're right when they say you just don't seem to remember how much it hurt after the fact.

Anyhow, yesterday Lauren was Miss McFussy ALL DAY and it was driving me crazy because I was trying to prepare to get my house on the market (we're getting it listed tomorrow!), so all week, I've been up to my eyeballs in yardwork and housecleaning. Well, this morning, I discovered the underlying cause was not her thinking I wasn't giving her enough time, but rather some sort of cold. She woke up with almost a 100 fever, poor thing! So one part of me was sad that she wasn't feeling good, but the other part of me was relieved that that was my answer.
