Tier sat in his car slightly annoyed with the world. He just wanted to go home and fall asleep and hope that this day would end soon enough.
'Ring. Ring'
Tier twitched as a cellphone call interrupted his brooding. The person better have a good reason to be calling him right now, otherwise he intend to hang up. "What?" he snarled into the otherside of the phone.
"Hmmm so you are brooding. That was expected."
Tier calmed down. It was Ayame. Ayame was someone not to yell at. Now if it was Asher that would be a different story, but Ayame usually had a good reason to call.
"So why are you brooding and being all sulky like?"
"Ayame. I had just spend the last eight hours at a silly tv interview on BITS and the AB championships when I could have been home training or even doing paperwork!" Tier scowled.
Tier came from a very wealthy family. His parents died two years ago, leaving him the heir to the family business. Being somewhat of a genius, Tier handled schoolwork, the business, and BITs battles at the same time. He would have never gone to this stupid interview if Asher didn't show up at his doorstep at 5am to drag him down to the TV station. Tier knew it was a bad idea giving the cheerful champion his home address.
"Hmmm well if it's any help, I finished most of your paperwork already. All that's left is for you to sign the dotted line."
Tier blinked. "You did?" That was unexpected.
"I got bored waiting for you. So I decided to finish your paperwork since you weren't around. Oh hey, mind if I stay the night? I'm not exactly looking forward to going home. There were some policemen following me around all day. I guess even now they're still paranoid."
Tier frowned. "Strange. Usually you're the one paranoid."
Ayame grinned from the other side of the phone. "True. But I don't feel like being paranoid today. I'm way too happy."
"Tell me about it later. I'm almost home."
Tier hung up the call. His house came into view. Finally he was home.
