Tristian's eyes immediately began to water, he nodded fervently feeling utterly ridiculous at how much his heart was constricting and the fact that words wouldn't come out of his mouth. Wasn't them getting married an inevitably? But it was maybe that it was sooner than he expected. Or that Ren asked. Or that he said it like it was the simplest truth to be acknowledge. Either way, the longer he nodded, the more his eyes watered, before he finally squeaked out an actual, "Yes!" But as soon as the word was out of his mouth he was speechless again, so he settled for just kissing Ren, maybe it would settle his pounding heart and the shaking in his body.
