And I hear you on the finances. My mom taught me a little, but she was raised by parents who went through the Great Depression so basically every time I spend a penny I want to cry. It's very difficult sorting out the genuine 'oh hey not a smart purchase' from the baseline cringe whenever I touch my bank account. Hence why I went a tiny bit overboard on my credit card.
