Ryek's ship came ever closer to the immobile ship. It wouldn't be long before they were right next to each other. Ryek's crew balked, and he sent them scurrying with few choice words in French. They really didn't like being so close to that black ship, even Ryek's ship wasn't black, just a dark grey color with snow white sails. Still his ship had struck fear into the hearts of many. Honestly he had never seen his superstitious crew this worked up before. He shook his head and yelled fiercely at them, insulting and encouraging them. Minute's would pass and Ryek's ship would begin to slow. Preparing to park beside the black ship, from where he stood it seemed empty. Then he saw it, a bit of movement on the deck, but only one or two people it seemed.

Ryek's ship was very fast, and it was rather easy to catch up to a nonmoving vessel. Still the Devil's Dream had earned her title of 'one of the fastest ships to ever sail'. There were ships faster than her, and one was a naval ship, that irked Ryek to no end. How dare a navy ship be faster than his own? He shoved those thoughts aside as he eagerly watched the other ship slip closer and closer. Or rather, watched as he slipped closer and closer to that other ship. He was sure today would be a good day. Maybe. He was often wrong about things like that, but still, he could hope.

Ryek grinned as his ship came alongside the other smoothly. Stopping almost impossibly quick without causing everything to fall over or lurch forward such a thing was an art. The anchor was dropped and the planks were being slid across, so Ryek could board the ship and take whatever treasures it held within. He came down the stairs from the upper deck, no longer needed at the wheel and his crew stood around anxiously, nervously watching the black ship and the people that could clearly be seen now. Ryek moved halfway across one of the planks, probably a stupid idea, making himself a target like that, but there was only two people there. A shirtless man and a woman. Tch. Another woman, well he wasn't looking to take any more bad luck on his ship, that man could keep his woman.

"Ahoy!" Ryek called out rather loudly. "Prepare to be boarded, by Captain Ryek Le'Raux."
