Take my darkest fears and play them like a lullaby, like a reason why.

Nathanial got up carefully, as to not hurt his knee further. The begging task had been an easy one since he had lived on the streets with his sister for about three years before being taken to the orphanage. Stealing was something that he wasn’t as good at since his knee sometimes became a hindrance in his getaway. Thinking about the new task the boy began to look about the room and pacing slightly. If only there was something he could use to cut the bag open or cut the strap so he can just take the whole bag. Why had he have to be so nice and let Raine take the knife from that room last night?

After further thought he stopped pacing. Maybe if he could sneak up on the golem while it was distracted he could get the notebook. Near where he stood there was some rubble. He knelt and picked up a few decent sized pieces. Well it was now or never right? The boy rose to his feet again and started to walk around acting as if he was looking at stalls with the pieces of rubble hidden in his pocket. Once he was behind the golem he threw a piece of rubble by the golem in an attempt to distract it. Hearing it hit the grown he then snuck up behind the creature to try stealing the bag to get the notebook from within it.
