I find that it helps to start with a theme in mind, 飛段. Some people just pile things on for the colors, but if you start out knowing what kind of person your avatar is going to be, it comes together easily. Also, just buy everything you like, because having more items to choose from helps. I never remember to check the shops for something appropriate for an outfit I'm working on. ><
