I'm ok. I working myself into a good rant on tumblr. Or rather, it's sort of an explanation of why you don't want to tell fanfiction writers to "Write for themselves." What it all boils down to is that when a Cookie writes for her own satisfaction, she stops writing whenever she wants to. She doesn't need to post or otherwise share her writing, because she only wrote it for herself. So I don't need to finish the hundreds of projects I start. I've come to realize that the 33,000 word project I've been working on lately will probably never be posted. I just wrote what I wanted and now that my steam has sort of run out, it needs a lot of editing and revision. Stuff that I prooooobably won't do because I have no motivation.

Basically, reward your fanfic authors or they stop writing for you and just write for themselves like you told them to and you never get to read their magnum opus! *clutches it to my chest* Mwa ha ha ha! *takes it to the grave*
