Felix let out a sigh of relief when the girl was finally responsive, unsure what he would have done if she were seriously injured. He often blamed himself for bad things that happened, and there was no doubt that this would have made the list. She hadn't seem scared by him or awed by his abilities, causing him to assume that she had not pieced together that it was him who had stopped the thing. For that Felix was grateful, as he had momentarily been saved from having to give some long, made-up explanation for what had just happened.

"Careful now." Felix warned as he watched the girl get to her feet. Using his magic again after such a long period exhausted him, and he wasn't sure he'd have enough energy to carry her out if she were to suddenly collapse or something unexpected like that.


"Sure, it might not kill us, but it sure as hell had something against you." He replied in response to her comment, glancing over to the frozen shadow. He knew he would have a long day's worth of research ahead of him, the curiosity of what they had just witnessed eating away at him.

He nodded in agreement about her statement about leaving now, still fully aware that the shadow could unfreeze at any time, "Sounds like a plan to me." Deciding he would lead the way, he began walking the direction he believed they had entered from, too distracted to notice that the path was beginning to fade.

"So tell me, who exactly are you?" He asked, not bothering to look back at her. He figured that if he wanted to have any idea of what was going on in the park, he would have to start with her.
