Carrying a silver metal tray with different warmed food on it such as eggs, bacon, an orange and a glass of milk on the side of it. Alex Conners; the general of the military had made his way down a dark hallway toward the Queen of the nova's cell. Wearing his uniform with his katana sheathed across his back while his pistols still holstered in their usual spot behind him as well. Alex was making his way to Mina's cell to go and tell her the truth about how he really felt about her all these years. Just the thought of finally letting out his true feelings though had made his own heart race, originally if it had ever come to any other person in the world Alex would normally be calm and collected and not to mention barely ever show much emotion to anyone else. Being raised in an orphanage, these new feelings he had for another were really strange to him. Even though to this day he had started to slightly understand how he had felt, Alex still sometimes has trouble to figure out his true deep feelings for Mina.

Soon within a matter of minutes passing by after reaching a large metal door bolted with multiple different locks. Alex had to use different methods to open each lock; such as using his eyes to make sure security had known who he was as well as putting in several different codes to open some of the other locks as well. Once the door had finally opened up for him, all that was seen on the other side was a long white hallway and at the end of the hallway seemed to be another door. However this one seemed different, it was pitch black without a handle or knob or any locks whatsoever. All that was seen on the pitch black door were letters written in red that had said 'Queen'. Stepping up toward the door when Alex tried to look inside there seemed to be nothing but pitch darkness within the room. So placing a single hand onto the door, while the other hand continued to hold onto the silver tray of food he stayed silent for only a moment. "Mina...how are you doing?...can i come in?.." He had asked, his voice quiet but yet soft. Alex truly wanted to know about how she had been doing today since he knew well enough that the tests that were supposed to be done on the novas was not done today yet. It would start sooner or later and the novas would be called into the testing room for more of the cruel experimental tests of seeing how their powers had grown.
