John stood still listening to Hikari speak and shook his head slightly, he had read her file over and over, so he knew her story front to back, and he recognized her dream. He stood there and looked at her and sighed reaching down and taking her plate of food from her. He placed the plate of food on a near by table and knelt down placing a hand on her shoulder. "Nightmares make us strong, they make fear known to us." he said softly, something that he rarely did or showed. John's face softened and he closed his eyes for a brief moment before looking back at Hikari. "Nightmares are just dreams, and dreams are something that gives us humanity, and doesn't that mean you aren't a monster." he said showing a side he had never really shown before today. A side of him that was human rather then a cold and robotic, like his arm, after a second or two he closed his eyes and his face hardened again and he looked back at Hikari. John knew that he was treading a thin line with Hikari and also how he was supposed to interact with her.
