His ears picked up the sound of a voice, childlike in nature. His eyes moving once more to the screen. He was curious about who the one speaking was. At first, he had foolishly thought that it was some form of magic or something, but he knew better now, that on the other side of the call was someone with a device like this of their own.

His eyes moved to the girl as she grabbed the phone from him, confirming that it was in fact that kind of device. She watched him, as he watched her in turn. She began speaking to the one on the other side, which she called Lily. So, it was a young girl she was familiar with. He watched her as she seemed to soften a bit in nature, her eyes adverting from him as she did so.

He watched her as she said the bad guys did not stand a chance against her. She then followed up by saying there was a bad guy, who was not bad, who agreed to help her. He frowned, wondering who this was she was speaking of. Was it him? In any case she was indeed lying in some way to the girl. But he did understand how some saw it needed to bend the truth a bit for younger children they cared for.

She was telling the girl she would send a picture later. A picture? He watched as their call ended and she proceeded to mess with the phone. He reached out, plucking the phone from her once more. His eyes upon it, "stretching things for the benefit of a young mind and heart.....so there is a softer side under that aggression."

He looked at the phone again, not seeing to much of the appeal within it. Though he supposed with staying in contact, it was a quicker and...sort of easier...way to do so. He tilted his head, looking at her once more again. "But now how will you appease her curiosity?" he asked, curious on what she planned to do now with the seeds she had planted for the girl.

She seemed attached to this device as well. He knew from the man's description that many of the younger generation could become quite attached to these devices for more than just communication purposes. He wondered how far this female was attatched to hers. He knew there was a battery within the back, his hand flipping the phone over. With a slight pop of the back cover, sure enough there was the rectangular battery sitting within the back.

Without it, such things could not run. So simple, yet so complex as well. Kuroyami had an interest in what made things tick, learning on how they worked. Even if he preffered the older way of doing things. He slipped the battery out, looking at the little object within his hand. "Such strange little things...." he said, before slipping the battery back within the phone.

He replaced the backing, before looking to her. Without much of a refusal or comment, he handed the phone back to her. He took a breath, glancing out the window at the end of the hall. "Whatever your plans are or your hatred for me....for now it is not wise for you to remain her so close to evening" he looked at her, "please leave...for real this time."

He took her hand this time, instead of her wrist without a thought. Not a hard grip, leading her back down the stairs and to the door. He opened it, before releasing his hold. His eyes returning to her, as he stood beside the door. His demeanor had shifted again. He had gone from opposing when they first met and she attacked him, to slightly lighter when they had talked to once more opposing to now seeming calm once more.

Hard to pin down, who he was was still for the most part a mystery. They had just met after all, so it was no surprise. She was still new to him as well, but at the same time she was familiar with many he had delt with. He could not judge her simply by that though, it was unfair. For now, he continued to watch her.
