Micah stared at the small parcel held out to him and he hesitated at first but eventually he accepted the gift and carefully opened it up, pulling out each delicate item. They were interesting gifts, especially the hair tie but strangely he liked it. His mother spoiled him too much sometimes but he appreciated the gifts he received even though he didn't really deserve gifts. He wondered why his mother wanted him to have these gifts, he'd have to ask her tomorrow in his letter, and he'd have to thank her of course. Micah put the pendant on as well as the ring and even used the hair tie to do just that, tie his hair up and keep it out of his face. "We should go, we don't want to keep the king waiting." Micah said quietly.
