Ange chuckled, "I'm sure you really want to kill me now..." he whispered back. Though, honestly, Ange wouldn't have cared if she killed him now. At least he wouldn't have to be stuck with these stupid emotions of feeling bad for what he'd done and feeling bad about having no regrets. Though, he did feel guilty about the situation he'd put Vanity in, she'd never be able to live a relatively normal life after this....

If the police, or anyone ever caught them, they'd be looking at life in a high security prison asylum. Not the kind of life Ange wanted to live... He shh'd her again and the rustling of the leaves grew louder. Ange remained still as death and did his best not to move or even breathe...

He heard voices, but they were faint. He couldn't make out what they were saying, he remained still. After a few seconds, (which felt like long, painful hours to Ange) the voices died down and the rustling of the leaves faded with it. Ange sighed, "We aren't safe anywhere anymore." He said, deadpanned.
