Ange followed closely behind Vanity, all the while, he was careful to watch for anyone who might also be hiding in the woods, waiting to pop out and grab Vanity or himself. He'd hoped to any God in any part of the universe that the children weren't following them. Ange had a hard heart, he had a rough enough time letting Vanity in, he didn't need to get any softer by allowing little children to tag along.

Ange caught up with Vanity, glancing behind his shoulder every now and then to see if the children were following. He didn't feel bad about leaving them alone in the woods, but he did feel as though they were only following in Ange and Vanity's footsteps. Still, this backwards society needed to know that it was wrong to imprison children who went against the majority. The world was chaotic and Ange knew this may be the start of something amazing.

Still, he kept quiet and followed Vanity through the foliage, hoping they'd find some shelter or something soon.
