Veronica had to agree. She smiled back at Erik and said, "Yeah, you're right." She was about to finish eating when an idea came to her. Her head shot up and she looked at Erik again. "I know," she said, excited. "I could get a job and help you get the money. I mean, it would help you get closer to your dream, and I would have something to do while you're working."
