Now dine-in restaurants and bars have been ordered to close except for to-go orders, and theaters, gyms, casinos, and libraries are closed for at least 8 weeks.
So far, schools are only taking a 2 week closure...but that could change, too.
The DMV is also closed and any gatherings of 50 people or more are being required to cancel or postpone...this includes churches.
Grocery stores are open and hiring more employees to try to keep the shelves stocked...
The State of Colorado presently has 160 confirmed cases of the virus.
I feel so sorry for the people who will be forced to go on Unemployment in order to have money to pay bills...though evicting people unable to pay rent is being discouraged.
The BF works for a tow company and he has been ordered to not allow anyone to ride inside the tow truck...instead, they are being told to make customers stay in their cars and the car will be loaded onto the tow truck and they will be taken to a safe destination. They are not to have paperwork signed or to have more more personal contact than absolutely necessary.
I understand and agree with these precautions...but I find it pretty hard not to be freaking out a little!
